◇Handmade wooden tubs crafted from locally-produced timber

 

These traditional handmade tubs are created from locally-produced wood. Various other products are also made to order, from small items to large bathtubs used at ryokan. Products are crafted to suit a particular purpose, utilizing the character of the wood. With regular maintenance, tubs made here may remain in use over a span of some 20~30 years. The workshop is lined with tubs sent from all over Japan for maintenance.
